Whoo hoooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure you can all tell from the title what I did today.  I know you all know, but I'm gonna tell you anyways.  I FINISHED JESUS!!!!!  The horrible thing is done!!!  I'm so doing a big, fat, happy dance.  "I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it!"  OMG, I can't believe he's finally done.  I sat down to work on him today, and he was practically finished.  Well, okay, not really.  But he was close.  I had ten stitches on his face to do, and then I had about sixty to eighty half stitches to do.  With lots of counting, lol.  I had to start the one side of the half stitches twenty eight stitches away from his hair.  I was scared I'd put it in the wrong place, but I nailed it first try.  I checked it against the lower right corner and the upper left corner to make sure it lined up correctly.  I was so happy!!  So now I have all rotation except for my ornie SAL (which I didn't work on this week for some odd reason.  I think it's cause I started a new character on Two Moons, and was really busy playing).  I'm gonna work on the ornie some tomorrow since I didn't on Wed.  Then I'll post the pics.  But here is Jesus is all his glory.

You've been stitching this for as long as I've been reading your blog - I'll feel so hollow inside without the Jesus updates, lol. Congratulations, he came out great! At least now I don't have to worry about your immortal soul every time I see one of your "%#@&! Jesus!" post titles.

She is, Debbie. I called her when she got home from work that night, and she's all excited now. Thanks so much Vickie. Thanks Tiki, I'm so happy!! Thanks Margaret, it totally is a big happy dance. Thanks Astrid. Thanks so much, Kristy. I know Veronica. I've been working on him, on and off (mostly off) since Jan of oh seven. Thanks Topcho! Thanks so much Nia. Thanks Ylva. I'm so happy he's done!! It totally does Rachel. I can now work on things I WANT to work on! Thanks Edgar. Thanks Ranae. Thanks Joysze. Actually, Terry, He's gonna be a serving tray. I asked her if she wouldn't mind serving things over Jesus, and she thought it was a great idea. So I'm gonna take him to get framed, then he needs to have handles attached. LOL, Claudette, you're my favorite commenter, and this one just cements it. I actually stood up and jumped up and down laughing when you said that, lol. Thanks for the great giggle, I appreciate it. Thanks Heli. And thanks Cindy. It does feel like a weight has been lifted. I've thanked God for giving me the strength to finish it up and not throw it across the room at any time, even though I wanted to. Thanks also for all of you leaving a comment. I love them!!

Congratulations, well done! He looks great. Hm, is such a comment about Jesus allowed? :) Oh, and thanks for not banning anonymous comments :) Zlatina

mdgtjulie said...

LOL, Zlatina, it's allowed as long as you're calling the project horrible and not the being. But the being knows what I mean, so it's all good. Thanks, and you're welcome!!
