A Poem

     Someone sent this in to one of my yahoo groups, and I thought it appropriate for this time of year, when parents are struggling to keep up with small children with lots of new toys.

"Oh give me patience when tiny hands,
Tug at me with their small demands.
And give me gentle and smiling eyes,
Keep my lips from sharp replies.

And let not fatigue, confusion, or noise;
Obscure my vision of life's fleeting joys.
So when years later, my house is still,
No bitter memories its rooms may fill."

     Parents, enjoy your children's joy in the holiday season, and try and stay focused on the fact that they're only little for a while...

You're welcome Cucki. And it IS very true, Rachel. These are the years to savor (and pull your hair out, lol).

I would have figured out who you were eventually, I think, lol. Glad you're still with us. And you're welcome. I hope parents realize how luck they are to have their children safe and sound.
