Where are our priorities these days? I don't understand it. I went to RR to see what's going on. The top story there was Katy Perry and her awards nominations. The second story was the terror attacks in Norway. WTF people?!?!? What is wrong with our society that this is acceptable???

I don't blame you for getting cross that would make me mad! The BBC has had blanket coverage on Norway and no Katy Perry fortunately
I often ask the same question,Julie.Priorities and values have gone very askew in our societies.
Because the shootings happened in Norway, Julie, would have been different if it had been Maine or somewhere!
Nice to know someone has their head on straight!!! I don't have a working TV, so I don't know what kind of coverage we've got there, but the net coverage is cruddy. They really have Lesley. It's one of my fave soapboxes to get on. What's wrong with our society. It's easy to see what's wrong, and hard to figure out how to fix it though. I know it's not as important to America as if it had happened in the states, but still, Katy Perry?!? OMG, REALLY, SERIOUSLY?!?!?!
It is a major event wherever it happens and somehow you don't expect it to happen in Norway. Mind you I have not found much coverage on Aussies TV since I got home this evening.
On a different note Julie I hope you will cope with your misbehaving AC (mine did that last year!)
Thanks Wendy. I hope I can handle it. My asthma really kicks my butt in the heat. It should ALWAYS be important here, no matter where it happens. People are dead! We need to mourn that.
